IMAGINE ACTION YOUTH COUNCIL

Place des Artistes de Farrellton's Imagine Action Youth Council is a Youth-led Organizing Committee that develops, initiates and facilitates pop-up community events. Regular gatherings will offer a democratic, responsive, playful and sensitive space geared towards fostering creative, critical and participatory citizens of the world. Youth will have the opportunity to explore their own areas of interest as they activate their imaginations. They are encouraged to play, make, experiment and pose questions. Community connections and problem-solving, alongside holistic self-expression, is the basis of a program designed for and by youth. The Imagine Action Youth Council may decide to organize workshops, collaborative art projects, playful events focused on activism or community-building.
